Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch February 13, 1932
CHERRY, MARY V. TARRANT – At St. Elizabeth Hospital, Washington, D.C., Friday 
morning, February 12, 1932, MRS. MARY VIRGINIA TARRANT, widow of James Cherry, 
aged 74 years.
Remains will arrive in Norfolk via Washington steamer Monday morning, February 15, 
at 7 o’clock and will be taken to the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West 
Princess Anne road, corner Moran avenue. Notice of funeral will appear later.
