Virginian-Pilot April 16, 1944
Mrs. Mamie G. Cherry, daughter of the late John F. and Mrs. Sarah Hook Gaskins, 
who died Friday morning after a long illness, will be buried this afternoon in 
Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock at Park View 
Methodist Church.
