Virginian-Pilot February 15, 1931
CHERRY, WILLIE VIRGINIA – At her residence, 732 Thayer street, Saturday morning, 
February 14, 1931, at 12:30 o’clock, MRS. WILLIE V., beloved wife of W. S. Cherry, 
in the 60th year of her age.
Remains were taken from the funeral home of James V. Derry to her residence. 
Funeral services from Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON, 
February 15, 1931, at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial, 
Elmwood Cemetery.
