She was a native of Norfolk County and resided many years at 19 Nelson Street, South Norfolk, where she was well known and highly esteemed. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Disciples, and is survived by her husband, Paul W. Cherry, daughter, Miss Nina Cherry of Portsmouth and one brother, Albert Alexander, of Washington, D.C. The body was taken yesterday to the funeral apartments of J.R. Williams, in Chestnut Street at which place the funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
