Virginian Pilot June 3, 1983

Leslie W. Cherry, 86, of 891 Norview Arch, a native of Norfolk and the husband of 
the late Imie Betts Cherry, died Wednesday in a hospital.
He had retired from a job at Darden Burial Vaults Co.
Survivors include a son, James L. Cherry of Williamsburg; a sister, Virginia K. 
Irman of Media, Pa.; two brothers, H.G. Cherry of Virginia Beach and E.K. Cherry 
of Anthony, Texas; and a grandson.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. 
Paul B. Watlington Jr.  H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is in charge.
