Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, August 5, 1997 
Wendy Michelle Cherry, 29, of the 400 block of Piping Rock Road died Aug. 3,
1997, in DePaul Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include her father, Jesse Cherry Jr., and stepmother, Linda E. Cherry;
a sister, Vickie L. Cherry; a brother, Jesse Cherry III; and a grandmother, Mary
Outlaw.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2401
Ludlow St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is handling
arrangements.
