NORFOLK — Miss Clare M. Cherry, 72, a daughter of James M. and Mrs. Mary Bloomer 
Cherry, died in a Fairfax hospital Wednesday morning.

A native of Kenton, Ohio, she lived in Washington 35 years. She was a Catholic.
She had retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 31 years. There are no 
survivors.

The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to St. Mary's Catholic 
Cemetery for a funeral service Friday at 10 am.
