Virginian-Pilot  December 7 & 10, 1948
Miss Marie Angela Cherry, a former resident of Norfolk, died at her home in Falls 
Church Sunday at 9 p. m. after a long illness. She had been employed by the 
Internal Revenue Department for the past 25 years.

Surviving are a sister, Miss Clare M. Cherry, and an aunt, Sister Theela.
Funeral services and burial will be in Norfolk at a time to be announced later.

Miss Marie Angela Cherry —- Funeral services for Miss Cherry were conducted at the 
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church yesterday at 10 a. m. by the Rev. B. J. McKenna. 
Pallbearers were John E., Edward M. and Joseph Ferris, Milton E. Blair, R. 
Randolph Mann and M. T. Blassingham, Jr. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
