Virginian-Pilot  December 27, 1922
Mrs. Mary Bloomer Cherry, 61 years old, died Sunday night in Washington. She is 
survived by two daughters, Misses Clara and Marie Cherry, of Washington; two 
sisters, both nuns of the Order of Sisters of Charity, Sister Theckla, of Wash- 
ington and Sister Frances Clara, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two cousins, John F. 
Corbett and Miss Kate Corbett, both of Norfolk. Funeral services will take place 
at 10 o'clock this morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
