Norfolk - Funeral services were held Sunday in the Mother Church of God in 
Christ for Mrs. Angeline Cherry, 44, of 2217 Marshall avenue. Interment was in 
Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.

The Windsor, NC, native was a daughter of the late Clyde and Mrs. Maggie Ward 
and the wife of Thomas Cherry. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church 
in Haroldsville, NC.

Surviving are four sons, Thomas Cherry Jr. of Germany; Earl L. Cherry, Rudolph 
Cherry and Steven Cherry, all of Norfolk; three daughters, Misses Virginia 
Cherry, Alma Cherry, and Gloria Cherry, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Willie 
Ward of Haroldsville, and Joseph Ward, of Norfolk; two sisters, Miss Hilda Ward 
of Elizabethtown, NJ and Mrs. Doris Savage of Haroldsville; and four 
grandchildren.
