Virginian-Pilot  July 5, 1947
Mrs. Virginia Parker Cheshire, 74, widow of Edward Conway Cheshire and daughter, 
of the late James and Mrs. Mary Jane Warwick Parker, died yesterday at 9:20 a.m. 
at a local hospital. Mrs. Cheshire was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 
135 West Ocean View Avenue at the time of her death.

She is survived by four sons, Charles C. Cheshire, Harry 0. Cheshire, Edward Walsh 
Cheshire and Conway Hart Cheshire; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 
one sister, Mrs. William Michaels, of Baltimore, Md.; and a brother Charles 
Parker, of Springfield, Mass.

The body will be taken from the H. D. O1iver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church, Qcean View, for services Monday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be he1d at the Oliver Funeral Apartments 

Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
