Virginian-Pilot, March 18, 1905
DIED - At the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. George A. Brown, 522 Poole 
Street, Friday, March 17th, 1905, at 2:20 a.m., Eliza "Elzie" Chesser, widow of 
the late Captain Custus Chesser, in the 70th year of her age.
The funeral will take place from the Lekies Memorial M. E. Church Sunday, March 
19th, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend.
