NORFOLK — Mrs. Madeline Bedout Chesson, 77, of 826 W. Princess Anne Road, the 
widow of Wesley Earle Chesson, and a lifelong Norfolk resident, died Tuesday in a 
hospital.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, W. E. Chesson of Newport News; a sister, Mrs. Margaret B. 
Campbell of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.

A Christian Wake service will be said tonight at 8:30 in H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. in Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
