He is survived by a son, Bernard L. Chick, Jr., of Key West, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Birdie Chick; five brothers, Vincent, Percy, Edward and Earl Chick, of Norfolk and Elmer R. Chick, of Candler N.C. Mr. Chick was a native of Norfolk and had been a resident of Portsmouth for 17 years. He was a member of the Portsmouth Aerie of Eagles. The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home ************************************************************************** Bernard Lloyd Chick — Funeral services for Mr. Chick were conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home yesterday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. F. J. Klemmer, of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers were R. K. Watkins, Joseph L. Chippindle, John F. Hayden, J. D. Cooper, I. L. Thomas and Lonzo Murden. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
