Chick, and son of the late Charles and Mrs. Geneva Chick, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 5:45 o'clock. Mr. Chick was a native of Burkeville and a resident of Norfolk for a number of years. He was connected with the Norfolk Fire Department. Besides his wife, he is survived by six sons, Bernard L., Percy A., Edward St. Clair, Earl L., Vincent S. and Robert E. Chick; a daughter, Mrs. Charles R. Chick; four grandchildren, all of Norfolk; three brothers, Charles R. Chick, of Kansas City, Mo., Fred B. Chick, of Norfolk and Holland G. Chick, of Burkeville and two sisters, Mrs. Birdie Pusey, of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Mrs. Maury Keeling, of Keysville. The body was taken to H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason Street, pending funeral arrangements. **************************************************************************** Lloyd Munford Chick, member of the Norfolk Fire Department, who died Monday afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted at H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason street, this afternoon at 2 o’clock by the Rev. E. A. Brosnan, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
