NORFOLK — Mrs. Mary Louise Chick, 51, of 7812 Lisa Drive, died Saturday in a 
hospital.

A native of Atlanta, she lived in Norfolk 45 years.

She was the wife of Vincent C. Chick and a daughter of Mrs. Sara M. McClure and 
the late James M. Lyle Sr.

She joined Chapter 157 of Women of the Moose in February 1951, and was prominent 
in Moose activities at local and state levels from then until the time of her 
death.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Margaret C. 
Crook of Virginia Beach; a brother, James M. Lyle Jr. of Atlanta; three sisters, 
Mrs. Jean Riganto and Mrs. Betty Ackway of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Barbara Serafim 
of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.

A Requiem Mass will be said Monday at 10 a.m. in St Pius X Catholic Church. The 
Rosary will be recited tonight at 8:30 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
