Virginian-Pilot August 26, 1918
Mrs. Mary Theresa Childrey died at her residence Saturday afternoon, in the 46th 
year of her age. Mrs. Childrey is survived by her husband, George W. Childrey, and 
two cousins, Mrs. James H. Hill and Mrs. George W. Black, all of Norfolk. The 
funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at the residence by Rev. J. L. 
Bray of the Cumberland Street M. E. church. Friends of the family are invited to 
attend.
