Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Friday January 20, 1928
Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Church, aged 87, widow of George W. Church, died suddenly 
yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence of her son-in-law, C.S. Clark, 
3333 Clark circle. Mrs. Church was twice married, her first husband being Louis 
Bobee. She was a native of Virginia and had been a resident of Norfolk for 80 
years. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. C.S. Clark and one great-
granddaughter, Jeane Helen Clark. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's 
Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
