Magenta L. Church, and son of the late Edward and Mrs. Fannie Harding Church, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 4 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence, 1600 Bay View boulevard. Mr. Church was a life member of Norfolk Lodge No. 38, B.P.O. Elks, and a member of the Bricklayer's and Masons International Union No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. J. Magenta L. Church, two brothers, Capt. Walter H. Church, and Albert T. Church, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, tomorrow morning at 2 o'clock, with Chaplain William E. Callender, U.S.P.H.S., officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
