VIRGINIA BEACH — Mrs. Anne Sciortino Ciaccio, 74, of 4613 Jeanne St., the wife of 
Charles Ciaccio and a native of Ventimiglia, Italy, died Tuesday at 3:45 a.m. in a 
Norfolk hospital.

She lived in this area three years. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great 
Catholic Church and the 3rd Order of St. Frances Legion of Merit.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Carlson of Westmont, Ill.; two 
sons, Joseph Ciaccio of Massapequa, N.Y., and Dr. Thomas B. Ciaccio of Huntington 
Beach, Calif.; a sister, Sister Serafina Sciortino of Harrison Heights, N.Y.; two 
brothers, Salvatore Sciortino and Joseph Sciortino of Virginia Beach; four 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Bayside Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at noon in St. Gregory the 
Great Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Norfolk.
