Norfolk Virginian-Pilot  October 27, 1944

Ettore Cigala, 60, son of the late Ernesto and Mrs. Elvira Cigala, died at a 
local hospital yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Mr. Cigala was a native of 
Italy and a resident of Norfolk for the past 25 years, residing at 1600 
Llewellyn Avenue at the time of his death. The body will be taken from the H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services, 
Saturday at 12 o'clock noon. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary 
services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8 
o'clock.

Ettore Cigala — Funeral services for Mr. Cigala, who died Thursday afternoon at 
a local hospital, will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments Monday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
tonight at 8 o’clock.
