NORFOLK — Frances Meloni Ciola, 81, of 951 Woodrow Ave., a native of Mosciano, St. 
Angelo, Italy, and the widow of Dennis Ciola, died Sunday in her home.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include a daughter, Madeline Hubbard of Norfolk; a son, Dominick Paul 
Ciola of Virginia Beach; a sister, Mrs. Carr Smith,, and a brother, Theodore 
Meloni, of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 
with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. A rosary will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk, at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The family will be at her home.
