NORFOLK - Andrew (Eddie) Clapp, 67, of 1304 Corprew Ave. died Friday in his home 
after short illness. He was a native of Scotland Neck, N.C., son of Mr. and Mrs. 
William Clapp. He had lived in Norfolk 40 years. He had been employed at 
Wainwright Motor Co. for a year.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Clapp; two sons, Albert Clapp and Andrew 
Clapp Jr. of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Stone of New York City and 
Mrs. Leathia McCoy of Norfolk; two sisters, Miss Annie Mae Clapp of Brooklyn, 
N.Y., and Miss Caretta Clapp of Washington; four brothers, Danford Clapp, 
Clarence Clapp and William Clapp of New York and Arthur Clapp of Scotland Neck; 
and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Morning Glory Funeral 
Home by the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman, pastor of Queen Street Baptist Church. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The funeral party will assemble at 207 
Bellamy Ave.
