Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, August 20, 1990 
Julia H. Clark, 101, of the 800 block of Fremont St., a retired schoolteacher,
died Aug. 17, 1990, in her home.

Mrs. Clark, a native of Tarboro, N.C., retired from the Princess Anne County
school system after 45 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute
Street.

Survivors include three nieces, Eleanor M. Ruffin and Mittie Coleman, both of
Norfolk, and Bernice Gholson of Portsmouth.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church, Bute
Street, by the Rev. Robert Murray. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The body
will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Friends may join the family
at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
