James Clark, 63, operator of Clark's Paradise, a tavern, for 25 years, was 
given final rites Monday at New Calvary Baptist Church.

Elder S. W. Wilson officiated, and burial was in Calvary Cemetery under 
direction of Graves Funeral Home.

A native of Buffalo Spring, VA, Mr. Clark lived in Norfolk 40 years. He was 
the son of the late Holmes Clark and Mrs. Sallie Clark. He held membership 
in New Calvary 10 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Clark; a son, Richard Clark; two 
grandchildren, Richard Clark Jr. and Bonnie Clark; and two brothers, the 
Rev. Ulysses Clark of New York and Samuel W. Clark.
