H. Clark Captain Wm. H. Clark, formerly of this city, died at his residence in Brambleton Sunday morning at 11 o’clock from pneumonia. He had only lately moved to that place and was engaged as lumber inspector for the firms of Messrs. Etheridge & Fulgham and D. C. Lassiter. He was a member of Naval Lodge No. 100, A. F. & A. M. of this city, and a man of many excellent traits of character. Deceased was for many years a conductor on the Seaboard and Roanoke railroad and came originally from Northampton county, N.C. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the Methodist Church in Brambleton, and the solemn services were conducted by Rev. Wm. McGee, the pastor.
