Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 18, 1934
Charles Coe Clark, aged 82, a native of Meriden, Conn. and for many years a 
resident of Charleston, S.C., died yesterday morning at Hendersonville, N.C., 
following a long illness.  He was the husband of Mrs. Grace Rodman Clark, daughter 
of the late Prof. W. B. Rodman, of Norfolk.
Besides his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by one sister, Miss Jane Clark, of 
Hingham, Mass. and two brothers.  Funeral services will be held at the grave in 
Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, tomorrow at noon, with the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., 
pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.
