The funeral of the Rev. Major Clark, 40, of 607 E. Freemason St., who died at
his home Oct. 30, was held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Nov. 4 with the Rev. J.
H. Billups, pastor, officiating.  Rev. Mr. Clark was born in Washington, NC, and
had lived here 25 years.  He was the husband of Mrs. Mary Clark, who besides a
number of children and other relatives, survive him.  Interment was in Calvary
Cemetery.
