Clark, of Ocean View, Is Victim of Heart Attack In Home Edward A. ClarK, of 1100 Ocean View avenue, well-known Ocean View resident, was found by his wife, Mrs. Louise H. Clark, lying on the door of a room in a small annex to his residence yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, just 15 minutes after he had left her to go to the annex to make some repairs to a gas connection. He was found unconscious. A call was turned in to the Fire Department, Capt J. T. Caffey and the pulmotor squad from the Ocean View station, responding. Captain Caffey reported to fire headquarters that Mr. Clark was dead when he arrived. Coroner’s Investigator Leon Nowtizky made an investigation of Mr. Clark’s death after the latter had been officially pronounced dead by Dr. Reed, of Ocean View, and announced that the death was due to natural causes and that no inquest would be necessary. Mr. Clark, according to Detective Nowitzky, had suffered a heart attack several weeks ago. The deceased was 56 years old. He was a native of Berkley and had spent his entire life in this section. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Louie A. Clark and Edward A. Clark, Jr.; a daughter, Miss Sigrid Clark; two step-sons, James Edward Higgins and J. Robert Higgins; one sister, Mrs. Annie Clark Smith, and three brothers, Capt. John I. Clark, Capt. Joseph M. Clark and Cornelius S. Clark. Funeral services will be conducted at the Holy Trinity Church, of which Mr. Clark was a member, tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock by the Rev. Robert B. Kealey, pastor of the church.
