Clark, 81, passed away Feb. 27, 2002, with her family by her side, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Lawrence, Mass., Aug. 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Veronica Lalis. Mrs. Clark was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She retired from the Virginia Employment Commission Claims Division. Mrs. Clark was predeceased by her husband, William Patrick Clark. She is survived by her children, Patricia C. Hall and husband David of Virginia Beach, Jerome F. Clark and wife Patti of Williamsburg and Christopher M. Clark and wife Frances of Midlothian; brother, Joseph J. Lalis of Sun City, Ariz.; sister, Helena Zuber of Danvers, Mass.; and grandchildren, Brian and John Hall, Kelly and Erin Clark and Katherine and Philip Worrell. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Brian M. Rafferty acting as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Support Care of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
