Virginian-Pilot  February 24, 1930
Mrs. Mary C. Clark, aged 62, wife of Joseph M. Clark and daughter of the late John 
and Mary Kelly, died at her residence, 712 Westover avenue, yesterday morning at 
9:45 o’clock. She was a native of Baltimore, but since her infancy has spent her 
life in Norfolk.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. G. Emmett Hogan and 
the Misses Elizabeth and Anne Clark: two sons, J. Alvah and Joseph M. Clark. Jr. 
and two grandchildren, Mary Clark Hogan and George Emmett Hogan, Jr. Mrs. Clark 
was well and favorably known and was a consistent member of Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church.

Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 
10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
