Funeral services for Miss Mercile Clark, well-known nurse, who was residing in New 
York at the time of her death, were held Feb. 18 at First Baptist Church, 
Campostella, the pastor, the Rev. R. L. Harris officiating, assisted by the Rev. 
J. J. Freeman and the Rev. Mr. Warden. Condolences were read by Mrs. Nettie 
Woodhouse. Three nurses from the Nurses Association in New York City attended the 
rites. She is survived by two brothers and other relatives. Interment was in Mt. 
Olive Cemetery. Gordon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
