A funeral service was held last week for Mrs. Louise Hayes Clark of 1426 Buck road 
at Jerusalem Baptist Church. The Rev. Thomas M. Venable delivered the eulogy. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Hale Funeral Home.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Clark died in a hospital on July 4. She was president of 
Jerusalem Baptist female usher board No. 1.

She is survived by her husband, Jake Clark; a stepson, Jake Clark Jr.; a niece, 
Miss Edith Mason; and other relatives.
