The Virginian Pilot July 2, 1961
Mrs. Texie Trammel Clark, 87, a resident of Norfolk 76 years, died in a Norfolk 
hospital Friday night after eight weeks illness.
Mrs. Clark, a native of Nansemond County, was a daughter of John Randolph and 
Mrs. Amelia Ames Trammel. She was the widow of William H. Clark.
She was living with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Clark, 
1103 Bedford Ave.
She was a member of Larchmont Methodist Church.
Survivors, in addition to William Clark, are three other sons, Wallace T. Clark 
of Virginia Beach, Fred B. Clark of Lynnhaven and Lawrence A. Clark of 
Clermont, Fla.; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted in Cox Funeral Home today at 3:30 p.m. by 
the Rev. George H. Boyd of Larchmont Methodist Church and the Rev. B.T. 
Candler, retired Methodist minister. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
