A native of Trinidad, British West indies, he was a son of the late Tom and Mrs. Eliza Clarke. He lived here more than 30 years and was employed at Epworth Methodist Church more than seven years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eudoras R.C. Clarke; two foster sons, Joseph Clarke and Stephen Rafik Jones; and a brother, the Rev. Vernon Clarke, all of Norfolk. The body was taken Hale Funeral Home.
