CLEGG - At her residence, 112 Hughes Avenue, Brambleton, yesterday (Wednesday) 
morning, at 9:10 a.m., IRENE VANDALIA CLEGG, beloved wife of W.L. Clegg, in the 
51st year of her age.
The funeral will take place THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON, September 4th from the 
Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, at 2 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances 
respectfully invited to attend.

The funeral of Mrs. Irene Vandalia Clegg, whose death has been noted in these 
columns, was held from the Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church at 2 o’clock 
yesterday afternoon and was largely attended by friends of the deceased. The 
service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. T. Riddick. The interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Messrs. R. W. Barrett, R. T. 
Land, H. S. Jarvis, John O. Gornto, N. T. Bailey and E. A. Burns.
