Miss Sadie Louise Clegg, daughter of Mrs. Ada Partridge and the late William H. 
Clegg, died at the home of her stepfather, Capt. M. C. Partridge, Rappahannock 
Avenue, Thursday at 6:15 p. m., after a lingering illness, in the 21st year of 
her age. The deceased was possessed of many beautiful traits of character that 
won for her a host of friends who will learn with sorrow of her death. The 
funeral will be held from the residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon and will be 
conducted by Rev. E. P. Minor of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Interment will be 
in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Besides her mother and stepfather, the deceased 
is survived by three sisters and three brothers, Misses Ada, Eva and Marion and 
Harry, Lonnie and John Clegg.
