Virginian Pilot December 21, 1967

Mrs. Lola Clements of 813 Virginia Beach Blvd. died Monday in a hospital after a 
short illness.
A native of Currituck, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Hawkins and Mrs. 
Sarah Patterson and the wife of John R. Clements.
She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Taylor of New York; a 
brother, Denoes Patterson of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Presiphonia Peeples of 
Philadelphia; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in New Calvary Baptist Church 
by the Rev. Milton Reid. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral 
Home in charge.
