Mrs. Clements was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She was employed with AARD Screenprinting in Chesapeake. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Chesapeake, and Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Norfolk. Survivors include her husband, Wellington Irving Clements; three daughters, Sheryl A. Thomas of Pensacola, Fla., and Elizabeth C. Liverman and Virginia C. Trexler, both of Richmond; three sons, James M. Dyer Jr. of Norfolk, Wellington Irving Clements III of Richmond and Brooks R. Clements of Chesapeake; two brothers, Edward C. Johnston of Norfolk and Robert R. Johnston of Virginia Beach; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. George B. Heath. The family will receive friends in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
