NORFOLK — Howard W. Cloonan, 83, of 131 Orleans Circle, a native of Oswego, N.Y., 
died Wednesday in a hospital.

Mr. Cloonan had retired as a Norfolk schoolteacher after 30 years. He was a member 
of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors include a niece and three nephews.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Christ the King 
Catholic Church by the Rev. J. Michael Breslin. Burial will be at St. Mary's 
Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be at 7 p.m. today in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, Norfolk.
