NORFOLK – Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Toms Clucas, widow of Richard Charles 
Clucas, who died Friday at her residence near Lynnhaven, were held at the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 3:30 p.m., by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams, 
rector of Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. 
The pallbearers were Bruce E. Melchor, Eddie E. Edgar, J. Edward Pearce, Charles 
Brockwell, Ray White, George D. Loder and Benjamin Hedgepeth.
