COATES - Tuesday morning, January 14, 1919, DAVID W. COATES, aged 72 years.
Funeral services at the residence of his son, W.D. Coates, 1501 DeBree Avenue, 
THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON, January 16, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the family 
invited to attend.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.

                            FUNERAL OF MR. COATES

The funeral of David W. Coates took place at the home of his son, W.D. Coates, 
1501 DeBree Avenue, this afternoon and was conducted by Rev. M.W. Vines, D.D., 
of the First Baptist Church, being largely attended. There were many floral 
offerings. The burial was in Elmwood.
