Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 20. 1915

Mrs. Caroline Allen Cobb, widow of Captain Edwin Cobb, died early yesterday 
morning at her home, 1526 Fortieth Street, aged 75 years. She was a native of New 
Jersey, had lived here 21 years, and was highly esteemed. She leaves five sons and 
two daughters, one son, U.G. Cobb and one daughter, Mrs. Caleb Beacham, living in 
Norfolk. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from the residence and 
Rev. J.A. McKaughan will conduct the services. Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
