NORFOLK — Rudolph Judson Cobb, 78, of 6030 Eastwood Terrace, the husband of Mrs. 
Laurie Herbert Cobb and a native of Kelford, N.C., died Monday in a hospital.
He was retired from Old Dominion Paper Co. after 52 years of service. He was a 
member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.
He was a past president of Norfolk Host Lions Club and member of Norfolk Yacht 
and Country Club, Khedive Shrine Temple, Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies, Ruth 
Masonic Lodge 89, and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Irene Ruffin of Plymouth, N.C., and 
Mrs. Violet Danks of Kelford, N.C.; and a grandchild.
A private funeral will be held in Elmwood Cemetery with Cox Funeral Home in 
charge. Memorial donations may be made to the organ fund of St. Andrew’s 
Episcopal Church.
