Lila Denise Terry Cobb, 41, died suddenly July 30, 1999, in Silver Spring, Md.

Born in Milwaukee, Wis., she was the daughter of Ivana Terry and the late John
Terry. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Norfolk.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her former husband and father of her
children, Michael Cobb of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Courtnay Cobb, and a
son, Christopher Cobb, both of Washington; a brother, Terry Terry; aunts and
uncles, Helen McMurray of Alexandria, Va., Thurman and Julienne H. Spriggs of
Virginia Beach, and Clara Andrews of Milwaukee, Wis.; a very loving and
supportive mother- and father-in-law, Earlene and James Cobb of Washington; and
a host of other relatives. She was also predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph
and Clara Henderson of Norfolk, and William and Elvira Terry.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Episcopal Church, 1400 E.
Brambleton Ave., Norfolk, by the Rev. Fr. Harold J. Cobb Jr., D.D. Burial will
be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
