NORFOLK - Mrs. Annie Hurwitz Cochran, 50, daughter of the late Simon and Mrs. 
Bessie Grossman Hurwitz, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 5 a.m.
She was a native of Norfolk, and resided at 122 Glendale Ave., a member of The 
Temple of Israel, member of the Old Dominion Chapter No. 100 Pocahontas Degree 
of Oneida Chapter No. 6.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rose Barry of Norfolk, and Mrs. Ida 
Williams of Tampa, FL; four brothers, Jake Hurwitz, Benjamin Hurwitz, Harry 
Hurwitz all of Norfolk, and Louis E. Hurwitz of Cincinnati, OH, and a number of 
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts today at 2 
p.m. by Rabbi Joseph Goldman. Burial will be in B'Nai Cemetery.
