Norfolk - Shirley Mae Cochrane, 82, passed away July 24, 2012. She was born April 
7, 1930, in Norfolk to the late John and Edna Evans. Shirley devoted her life to 
her family. She was preceded in death by her son, William J. Cochrane, and 
grandson, Travis. Left to cherish her memory are her children, James C. Cochrane 
(Shirley), Patricia M. Kleinhuizen (Jim), Robert J. Cochrane, and Steven M. 
Cochrane (Cheryl); grandchildren, Lisa (R.J.), Kim, Lindsay, Billy (Danielle), 
Stephanie, Joseph, Robert, Abigail, and Christy; and great-granddaughters, 
Marissa, Julia, and Bryanna. The family will receive friends from 8:30-10 a.m., 
Monday, July 30, 2012, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, with a 
service beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
