Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, May 23, 2001 
Rodney L. Cochran Jr., 2, of the 900 block of Philpotts Road, went home to be
with the Lord May 19, 2001.

Rodney was predeceased by his father, Rodney L. Cochran Sr. Survivors include
his mother, Ebony Pearl; maternal grandparents, Eugina Minder and Michael
Speight, all of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Geraldine Cochran of Chesapeake;
great-grandmother, Glenda Pearl; a sister, Linda Pearl, both of Norfolk; 11
aunts, seven uncles and a host of other family and friends.

A homegoing service will be conducted at noon Thursday at Riddick Funeral
Chapel, 1225 Norview Ave., Norfolk, by the Rev. Reginald Stevens. Burial will be
in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be held today from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral
home where the family will receive friends and family from 6 to 7 p.m. and at
962 Philpotts Road at all other times.
