COFER, JAMES HERBERT, SR. — At a local hospital, Monday, December 10th, 1962, at 
6:45 p.m., JAMES HERBERT COFER, SR., widower of Mrs. Mary Anna Shepherd Cofer and 
son of the late Alonzo and Mrs. Minnie C. Cofer, in the 90th year of his age. 
Services at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON at 
12:30 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood 
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the building fund of 
Freemason Street Baptist Church. The family will be at 1353 Surry Crescent.
