COFER, MARY ANNA SHEPHERD – At a local hospital Sunday, August 17, 1947, at 1:45 
o’clock p.m., MARY ANNA SHEPHERD, wife of James Herbert Cofer and daughter of the 
late Dr. William H. and Anna Moon Shepherd, in the 73rd year of her age. Remains 
will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial Avenue, 
to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services TUESDAY MORNING at 10 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
